we should all devote a big chunk of our lives to being like, pious about this?
not necessarily BECAUSE other people don’t have them and we want to put energy towards dealing w/ that

also it flattens disparity of experience in ‘a country where those things are guaranteed’
bullshit is FOOD guaranteed in Americaland
